So I just learned that The Christi Reece Group - A Refreshing Real Estate Companyhas a quarterly donation to local NPO’s. They’re doing their next one in October. The nomination period is Sep8-21st. I’m doing this preemptively so we can get the word out. I’m going to send the email to nominate Ei8ht Up Industries on the 8th. The email is hyperlinked in the link I’m attaching to this post. Please anyone and everyone nominate Ei8htup. We need the help desperately to be able to help veterans and their families and pay for our operating costs. Thank you!

Pictures say 1000 words. This was the last time you and I rode together. 7 years ago was the last time we’d talk. I took the boys riding in the morning and I hoped you’d go, you and I needed it. You just weren’t feeling it that morning. However we hugged. That hug meant a lot for both of us. We were both in a rough spot. But that hug, it meant we were gonna be alright. It let us both know we were brothers to the end. That was the last hug you’d give me. Later that night I’d meet a doctor in a waiting room and hear something I never wanted to hear, you were gone. They say time heals all wounds. No it doesn’t. It still hurts. I am thankful for everything you taught me about myself. Thankful for your love. Thankful for making each other better men. I live everyday with the hope I’m doing it to your standards. I know you’re in a better place. You’re with God now, and I know you’re watching over us down here. Hope you hold it wide open up there today. Miss you like hell brother. Love you.

Man, doing this on your own is a learning curve. Thank got the marine corps gave me one character trait they don’t talk about enough. Semper Gumby. Always flexible. Gotta be able to go with the flow and pivot when you need to.
