Run with the Chief is back!

Join Delray Beach Police Chief Darrell Hunter and members of the Delray Beach Police Department for a free community run/walk through the heart of downtown Delray Beach.

This 1.4-mile event is a great opportunity to connect with Chief Hunter, meet DBPD officers, and get to know some of our newest recruits who are preparing to begin the police academy or have recently completed their training.

Welcome to Delray Beach! ☀️🌴 The Delray Beach CRA helped fund the installation of new wayfinding signage throughout the CRA District, replacing signs that had been in place since 2000. The updated signage improves navigation, reinforces neighborhood identity, and creates a more welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and businesses alike.

We invite city residents and businesses to take part in our free Shred Day event being held between 9 AM and 12 PM on May 30, 2026, at the City Hall’s North parking lot. The City will provide on-site shredding for sensitive, outdated, or unwanted papers or documents.

The Delray Beach City Commission has just approved FREE PARKING WEDNESDAYS in throughout the summer!

🅿️ Here’s the deal: it will be free to park in any city-owned surface lot or parking garage EVERY WEDNESDAY (day and night) from Wednesday, June 3rd - Wednesday, August 26th. On-street parking and private parking lots are not included in the free parking day.

This means you can come downtown all summer long on Wednesdays to dine, shop, enjoy the beach or happy hour, and not pay a penny for parking.

This was a unanimous vote so thank you to all of our City Commissioners for this summer gift to our locals and visitors in Downtown Delray!

This event will feature a captivating drone light show illuminating the night sky!
