Volusia County has had a long and rich history of caring for those in need. Many faith-based, civic and community initiatives have cared for many where we live, work and play. But a new awareness of the many families struggling with poverty in our area inspires a new response and a new solution to combat hunger and it’s devastating effects on children. Volusia School Fuel is a non-profit, communit

y-wide project to meet a community-wide need. Our desire is to unite donors and volunteers across our county, representing different businesses, organizations, denominations, and societal groups around our common goal to wipe out hunger. We invite you to join us by donating or volunteering because of your love for our county children and help support their growth and development.

This year Volusia School Fuel blessed 126 students with a Publix gift, along with their weekly food and nutrition bags, to go towards their Thanksgiving day meal with their family.
