The countdown is on for Kyla’s shining event in Canada today!🇨🇦

We are proud to announce that Our Kyla Guru is one of the two keynote speakers at the 2024 Calgary Cyber Summit in Canada! Kyla Guru – KEYNOTE SPEAKER Conference pulled out ads as follows. After her hometown experienced a cyberattack in which hundreds of social security numbers of local teachers were stolen and exposed, Kyla began studying the science of cyber-insecurity. Soon, she discovered one fact she could not ignore: nearly 90% of cyber-issues are caused by human error. Galvanized to meet an unmet need, at 14, Kyla became the Founder and CEO of Bits N’ Bytes Cybersecurity Education (BNBCE).

Kyla has championed her message of cybersecurity resilience on national and international stages including TEDx Chicago, NIST’s NICE Conference, CyberSat, RSAC-USA, and RSAC Singapore 2019, as the youngest speaker to walk across security's largest stage. Kyla is currently a Masters student at Stanford University.

🚀 Event Recap: AI Ethics and Safety - Navigating Bias and Building Human-Centered Algorithms 🚀

On 21st August 2024, the Panimalar-BNBCE Student Chapter hosted an insightful session on AI Ethics and Safety at Panimalar Engineering College City Campus . The event featured Ms. Vidya Bharadwaj, who delved deeply into the critical aspects of building ethical and bias-free AI algorithms. We were also joined by Ms. Kyla Guru, founder of Bits N' Bytes, USA, who shared her insights virtually on the global impact of responsible AI.

From discussions on algorithmic bias to the importance of human-centered design, the session was both thought-provoking and educational. Key takeaways included actionable steps toward mitigating AI biases and ensuring safety in machine learning applications.

A big thank you to the organizing team and all the participants who made this event a success! Let's continue driving conversations on ethical AI development and build a better tech future together.
