I.B. Booster Association of Deerfield Beach High School The DBHS I.B. Booster Association supports the International Baccalaureate program at Deerfield Beach High School, and helps to fund all the events each year.

Each year, the I.B. Booster Association helps plan, and fund, and volunteer at the Freshman Picnic, the Junior Induction Ceremony, the MYP Sophomore Recognition, and the Senior Banquet. We also provide support for the Open House in January, the Talent Show in Feb/March, the Teacher Appreciation in December, and several meetings throughout the school year to give parents and students information on a variety of topics relevant to the students' education and future plans.

Florida PTA strongly opposes HB 5101 – a disastrous cut to public high school college and career readiness programs.

This bill robs students of valuable college and career pathways that have long been praised by Florida’s own leaders. HB 5101 slashes funding by 50%, cutting approximately $200 million statewide across all 67 school districts.

It hits the Special-Order Calendar in the House this Wednesday, April 9, 2025, putting it on the fast track for passage.

Florida PTA launched a Take Action Alert this morning, and we need your help to make an impact before it’s too late.

Please act, share, and then share again! Let’s make sure lawmakers know this is unacceptable.
