Deerfield Beach Bison

Deerfield Beach Bison The Deerfield Beach Bison Youth Sports Program is a youth sports program presented by the City of Deerfield Beach and The McDougle Family Foundation.

The McDougle Family Foundation mission is to build a team of role models and mentors that will bring stability to today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders by tutoring, mentoring and encouraging our youth to stay focused on their health, social skills and academics, while exposing them to appropriate career paths, higher education and healthy lifestyles. The McDougle Family Foundation started from the

vision of two bothers who are retired NFL Players Stockar and Jerome McDougle both played at rival high schools one Deerfield Beach High and the other Ely High. Both attending college and becoming first round draft picks into the NFL. Children participating in the Bison Youth Sports Program have had amazing opportunities this offseason including a Summer Fun Pool Party, Free Physicals, Kick-off Celebration with local retired Professional Football Players, which also featured a Miami Dolphins Junior Training Camp and Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders. The Deerfield Beach Bison is a part of Gold Coast Pop Warner. The football and cheer registration fee is $75 for residents and $85 for non-residents. Practices take place at the Oveta McKeithen Recreational Complex located at 445 SW 2nd Street in Deerfield Beach.
