Our Prairie Lakes team is home after an incredible week serving alongside our partners at The 410 Bridge in Hato Mayor, Dominican Republic.
They spent the week building relationships, serving the community, helping paint part of the Transformation Center, touring the gardens used to train local leaders, and sharing the hope of Jesus by leading a gospel skit during the final day of VBS.
But what they'll talk about most isn't what they accomplished—it's how God met them.
As they set aside their own plans and chose to follow where God was leading, He stretched their faith, gave them a bigger picture of His work around the world, and reminded them that He is always at work. They came home with full hearts, new friendships, and a perspective that will stay with them long after the trip.
Thank you for praying, encouraging, and supporting this team. We're excited for you to hear the stories of how God moved—in Hato Mayor and in the lives of those who said "yes" to going.
