Here is a quick update from our team in Guatemala:
"It has been such an eventful and wonderful week! We all consider ourselves very blessed to have this privilege of being here in Guatemala, serving and being a part of something much bigger than ourselves.
We’ve been up to Chiminisijuan clinic, seeing patients and working on the clinic. We’ve also had surgeries and extremely full day in clinic in Canilla. Cabinet modifications and construction projects are underway and making strong progress. We also were able to surprise the missionaries that live and serve here by providing childcare so they could go on a much deserved date night.
We’ve had the privilege of hearing bits and pieces of some of the stories of people living and serving here and the many ways that they have seen the faithfulness and goodness of God time and time again. We have also experienced firsthand the goodness, mercy, and provision of God.
We asked you please pray for there to be the provision of a lab technician so that labs can be ordered for patients. Please also continue to pray for the week ahead. As grateful as we all are to be here, we are also feeling tired after the long days. Thank you for your prayers and please keep them coming!”

Ready… set… go! 🛫 Months ago, 13 people said “yes.” Now, they’re getting ready to spend the next week alongside our global mission partners in Canillá, Guatemala.

Through medical and surgical care and plenty of moments they can’t plan for they’ll have the opportunity to serve people, build relationships, encourage others, and learn along the way.

They don’t know exactly what each day will hold but they know God will meet them there.

Would you pray with us this week? Pray for safe travel. For the families they’re leaving at home. For the health and healing of the people they’ll serve. For meaningful conversations. For open doors. And most of all, pray that people would experience the love of Jesus through this team.

Their prayer for the week comes from Ephesians 3:16–21—that they would be strengthened by God, rooted in His love, and reminded that He can do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine.

We can’t wait to see what God does in them and through them.

✝️Child Dedication is a special opportunity to celebrate your child and intentionally commit, as parents, to raising them in a way that honors God. It’s more than a moment—it’s a chance to pause, reflect on what matters most, and take meaningful steps toward shaping your child’s future.

Our next dedication ceremony is Sunday, October 25, during worship services. A parent orientation is required prior to the dedication.

🌍 Is your next step a global trip? Here’s your opportunity to serve in Guatemala. You’ll work alongside Adonai International Ministries to support medical outreach in rural communities—helping care for patients, encouraging clinic staff, and coming alongside missionaries as they serve. You may have the opportunity to assist in clinics, support procedures, pray with patients, help with school outreach, and serve in a variety of practical ways throughout the week. You don’t need medical training—just a heart ready to serve, learn, and trust God to use you.

Be part of what God is doing in rural Guatemala. 💙

This team will serve alongside Adonai International Ministries as they care for people and build relationships in their community. From supporting medical clinics and caring for patients to prayer, school outreach and encouraging missionaries and their families, there are meaningful ways to serve. Step into what God is doing in Guatemala—serve alongside local partners, care for people in meaningful ways and come home with a bigger picture of how God is at work around the world.

Medical professionals are especially encouraged to apply, but you don’t need medical experience to be part of the team. 🩺
