Below are some ideas to help you get started in your own journey to fight human trafficking:

2. Mentor youth through your church or a local community pro

3. Screen a documentary film such as SOLD to educate your community. Sponsor a child from International Child Care Ministries. (http://www.childcareministries.org/)

5. Support social workers working in the foster care system to prevent children in foster care from being trafficked. (https://www.illinois.gov/dcfs/lovinghomes/fostercare/Pages/index.aspx)

6. Join our local human trafficking task force or help donate towards the local efforts. (Send a message to this page for more info.)

8. Support immigrants and newcomers in your area to help prevent labor trafficking. Offer ESL classes through your church or organization.

9. Ask local businesses to make the switch to fair trade products.
