On 9 November 2024, the Yellow Hammer Chapter of the MPRA had the distinct honor of presenting the Friend of the Regiment Award to Alabama State Representative Rex Reynolds. Rep. Reynolds has been a friend and staunch supporter of the Military Police Regimental Association for many years. We thank him for his service and support to MP’s across the state.

Greetings from our Chapter President!

My name is Brad Priest and I am the new President of the Yellow Hammer Chapter of the MPRA. I received your email information from Ft. Leonard Wood MPRA and wanted to reach out. My understanding is that each of you either currently belong to or have been a member of the MPRA. You are listed as Alabama Members at Large.

The Yellow Hammer Chapter of the MPRA is located in Decatur, Alabama. We moved the location from Prattville, Alabama to locate with the 142d Military Police Brigade. We would like to invite each of you to associate your membership with the Yellow Hammer Chapter as we are trying to incorporate all members throughout Alabama. We want to provide a hometown atmosphere and provide a Chapter we can all be proud of.

Our new officers and executive board is currently trying to add items that make it easier to belong. Our current initiatives include:

1. Creating a page (complete, just search Yellow Hammer Chapter of MPRA)

2. Create a Yellow Hammer website

3. Provide a resource for MP Soldiers and their families that are in need to receive emergency funds

4. Establish an MPRA scholarship

Welcome to the Yellow Hammer Chapter of the MPRA. We are excited about the future and pushing this organization forward. The intent is to promote the MP Corps in Alabama and have a resource for all MP Soldiers. We look forward to all who visit this page and pushing out relevant information.
