Good evening everyone!

I know many people have been asking about registration for the 2026 season and I am happy to say that we are ready to start accepting the applications!

We’re going to try something a little different and hope that it works— electronic forms! I am going to post the link to each form to be filled out. One form will be for only 6th graders to fill out. If you have any issues with any of the forms, please reach out to Ashton Wallace. If this works, this will take place of any forms having to be done in person. We will still offer in-person registration for those needing it. Those dates and locations will be announced when they are scheduled. If the electronic forms do not work, then everyone will still need to do forms in person.

Cash/checks in-person (this will only be available during in-person registration and we will make a list of those available to receive your payment. Please understand that if you pay in-cash to someone not listed, we are not responsible if you’re not marked as “paid” by us because the money did not get in the correct hands.)

🎄Decatur Christmas Parade🎄
Tomorrow is the big day, so I just wanted to put out some reminders for everyone and go over some VERY IMPORTANT instructions to follow.

•For those that are able to help decorate, please message me (Ashton Wallace). This way we can coordinate everything!
•Parade is at 6pm, children need to be at float by 5pm. The float will be in the church parking lot as in previous years. Parents, please do not just bring your children and leave them without checking in with me first. I am one person and I do not want any children walking off and getting hurt or lost!
•After the parade is over, we will make our way back to the church parking lot for parents to collect their children. Please make sure that your children know to not leave the float or walk until they have checked in with me. This is VERY important because the safety of each child is my top priority!
•Please also explain to your children that are riding the float that the MUST REMAIN SEATED for the entire duration of the parade! Every year we have issues with kids jumping around, leaning too far over the railing, and not following instructions when told to stay seated. This is a major liability issue and we will not continue to participate in the parade if these rules cannot be followed. We’ve had children get hurt before because of children getting too rowdy and rough housing on the float.
•We prefer that your child not bring candy to throw out, BUT IF they do, please show them how to GENTLY toss the candy. Please inform them that when they are out, they’re out and to not fight with other children over candy. This is what leads to a lot of the rough housing on the float: fighting over candy!
•Please make sure that your child is dressed warmly and if they bring/wear anything festive, have it labeled with their name so there are no issues with anyone fighting over what belongs to them!

This might seem like a lot, but again SAFETY for all the children involved is our top priority! These are all things we have had issues with in previous years and we would like to avoid them this year. If we continue to have too many issues, we will not continue to do the parade.

‼️IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO READ‼️
While the games have come to an end, it is still very important to check the Band App for important information being sent out regarding All Stars, Decatur Christmas Parade, and the Football/Cheer Banquet.

🌟 ALL STAR PLAYERS -If you have been contacted by AREA WIDE that your child has been selected as an All Star player and you need to get your child some equipment, please contact Coach Lavell, Clifton, or Ashton Wallace. If your child was selected, you would’ve been contacted by someone from Area Wide. This post only applies to those who have been contacted and need equipment. If you do not reach out to us about needing equipment, then we cannot assure that your child will have it for practices and the game on December 13.

🧡💙Football/Cheer Banquet- There is currently a poll posted that everyone needs to go place their vote on. If we do not have enough interest and interaction on this poll, then we will not have a banquet this year. This poll helps us to determine how many people we can expect to attend the banquet and which day would work best for everyone. So please take a moment to go place your vote. All information regarding the banquet currently is posted.

🎄Decatur Christmas Parade is set for Friday, December 5th. This is an event the kids love to participate in and we would like to get a headcount on how many kids to plan for. To receive all information and plan accordingly, check the Band App for the post labeled 🎄🎅🏼Decatur Christmas Parade🎅🏼🎄

‼️Reminders for 11/08 Playoff Games‼️

Tinimites do NOT have a game.

Rookies -Playing in UNION against Union. Arrive NO LATER THAN 11am. (Game time approximately 12:30pm.)

Midgets -Playing in SEBASTOPOL against S’pol. Arrive NO LATER THAN 10:45am. (Game time approximately 12:30pm.)

Peewee -Playing in SEBASTOPOL against S’pol. Arrive NO LATER THAN 12pm. (Game time approximately 2:30pm.)

IF your team doesn’t win the game (we’re going to hope that each team does 🤞🏼🙏🏼), then you need to turn in any borrowed equipment AND MAKE SURE YOU’RE CHECKED OFF! If you just take it off and leave it without being checked off, then we have no way of knowing who did/didn’t turn things in. Coach Lavell and I will be in Sebastopol to check anyone off. Coach Seth will be in Union with the Rookies. We will have a list of those who borrowed and need to return.

‼️Important Information for Saturday 11/01‼️
Tomorrow we will be playing at EAST CENTRAL IN DECATUR!!! We’re still playing against Lake, but the game will take place on ECCC’s football field.

Players need to be at ECCC by the following times:
Tinimites- 9am
Rookies- 10am
Midgets- 10:45am
Peewee- 12pm

If you will not make it, please let your coach, team mom, or myself know!
