Wow. We are beyond grateful for the amazing people who have come forward to bring the Splash Pad dream to life.

Please help us thank Lonnie Rogers, who donated all of the sod for the project (approximately $1,000 worth of sod). Thank you so much, Lonnie!

Thank you to Jeremy Schuetze and his amazing crew, who laid the sod. They did such a great job!

We are so thankful for your generosity and hard work.

Come join us for the Grand Opening of the Splash Pad!

When you are enjoying Fry Bread Tacos at the Fire Hall tomorrow night, be sure to sneak a peek at the new tanker truck! The FDF gave a grant to the fire department to help purchase the new truck, which is critical for transporting water to rural areas. Thank you to Matt Archer for attending an FDF meeting and sharing this need with the foundation. It was a privilege to help the fire department. Matt even had the FDF logo placed prominently on the new truck. What an honor for the foundation!

Everyone else can support the fire department by stopping by and getting fry bread tacos tomorrow night at the fire hall! Happy Riverfront Days!

As we build up to Riverfront Days and the honor we have of being this year's Grand Marshals, we want to share more of the amazing projects we are working on!

In January the legendary Eric Crouch visited Decatur! Eric's company, Crouch Recreation, is working with the FDF on the splash pad project. The January event was sponsored by FDF and invited the community to come and ask Eric about our ongoing splash pad project. We are SO excited about the splash pad! Stay tuned for more details about when it will open!
