Join us tomorrow at Senior Day at the Beaches! JEA and BEAM are hosting this free fair to connect older adults with over a dozen local resources. Attendees can speak one-on-one with agencies to learn more about programs and services that help older adults age independently, reach their goals, and save money. Be sure to stop by our SHINE table.

Todos podemos olvidar dónde dejamos las llaves o el nombre de alguien de vez en cuando. Pero cuando los cambios en la memoria comienzan a afectar la vida diaria, puede ser momento de prestar atención.

El Alzheimer’s no solo impacta a la persona que lo vive; también afecta a sus seres queridos, sus rutinas, sus conversaciones y la dinámica familiar.

Reconocer las señales tempranas puede ayudar a las familias a buscar orientación, apoyo y recursos a tiempo. La información y la detección temprana pueden marcar una gran diferencia.

En ActivaMente, creemos en la importancia de educar, apoyar y crear conciencia sobre temas que afectan a nuestra comunidad y a nuestros adultos mayores.

We want to take a moment to thank Florida Department of Health, ElderSource, and the Alzheimer's Association for being part of our upcoming ActivaMente Summer Celebration in partnership with the Council on Aging of Volusia County.
