Greater Daytona Shrine Club

The geographic area of the Club encompasses the cities of Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach Shores, Holly Hill, Ponce Inlet, Port Orange, and Ormond Beach. The membership of the Club is composed predominantly of Shriners from other temples who have retired in these cities and who continue their interest in and support of the work of Shriners International. Members and their Ladies as well as Shriners and their Ladies who are visiting the area gather at the Red Lobster Restaurant, 2625 W International Blvd, Daytona Beach at 5:30 pm on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from September thru June for fun, fellowship, dinner and a program. Programs are varied, informative, and on occasion require audience participation like when Santa Claus arrived or when a magician needed help with some tricks. Our informative programs included a presentation by a past Imperial Potentate, a patient ambassador, a former patient, and a chief of police. In 2023, the Club partnered with the Port Orange Eagles to host a Casino Night and Raffle to benefit our Shriners Children. That evening was a success and raised $5,300.00 for the Children. Today a host of problems are causing many to think that our nation and the world are headed in the wrong direction. There are individuals who stand up for what is right and work for a better tomorrow. They are men of honor, integrity, charity, and obligation.
