One of the most rewarding aspects of ABC Foundation is to AWARD student scholarships.

This year, we awarded $20,000 in Scholarships between 6 amazing Seniors. Those recipients were:

Korri Upmeyer
Kendra Fuller
Joshua McCarthy

2 of our Board Members and Dayton School District Grade School teachers, Nancy Moody and Dalia Magana, presented these scholarships at Senior Awards night.

DECOR for the Lights, Camera, AUCTION! Event were exceptionally phenomenal thanks to Dara Abell! She donated a ton of time and materials into this set up and with help from Claire Coleman with the star and banner printing, the whole set up made its debut!

Thank you to these ladies and their helpers who did such an amazing job!

🍽 DINNER (was) served! And what a delicious treat it was! ABC- Dayton Education Foundation is honored to partner with top area restaurants and their chefs to prepare a magnificent multi-course Dinner at the event each year.

Golden Valley Brewery - McMinnville features the main course of stout braised boneless short ribs with pan au just and roasted root vegetables. This flavorful dish is a guest favorite, and the generosity of Golden Valley with their time and exceptional food provided by donation to our event year after year is immensely appreciated beyond measure!

The Joel Palmer House Restaurant in Dayton treats us to their fabulous mushroom soup and mushroom risotto. They have also provided ABC with their amazing donation of this special food for many years, and we are so PROUD to partner with them from our own town!

The Sage Restaurant is also an integral part of this amazing dinner, and for many years, they have provided the Caesar Salad course - how they can make salad taste SO good is a secret they will most likely forever keep! Thank you to the Sage for being an integral part of this event!

Rhonda Dickison Crapper has made so many tasty variations of cupcakes over the years, we have lost count! This years cupcakes were not only delicious but beautiful in its decorative display. Thank you Rhonda, for your talent and sweet treats!

Our talented student chefs lead by Krista DeeAnn Carpino from Dayton High School Culinary delivered yet another beautiful display of hors d'oeurvres with pirate chicken bacon bites and caprese skewers - and as an extra bonus in the dessert auction, they also prepared fabulous mini cheesecakes and chocolate mousse cups.
They also got first hand experience in serving! Way to represent DHS and thank your for sharing with us your amazing skills!

We can't leave out WINCO who generously donates the bread as well!

There are many moving parts to this event, and the meal served for it is an integral part. Many thank yous again to these amazing restaurants and their chefs who make this a special event in so many ways! ❤️

Behind the scenes - is where a lot of ACTION is!
We couldn't be where we are at now without recognizing where we came from.
26 years ago, ABC- Dayton Education Foundation was created to help fund activiites beyond the budget and classroom. We are happy to keep this foundation thriving, and we would like to extend our THANKS to past members and our current board members who have spent many sleepless nights and countless hours making this event happen year after year.

We also would love to express our sincere Thanks to YOU for supporting the online auction, attending the event, or ANY donation big or small!
