Feast of Giving Thanks the Dayton Community for Extraordinary Support!

We are overwhelmed by the generosity and spirit shown across the Miami Valley as we prepare for this year’s Feast of Giving at the Dayton Convention Center.

Volunteer registration is now closed, and our team is actively reviewing all submissions. Every volunteer, whether selected or not, will receive an email update by November 2. Thank you to everyone who stepped forward to help make Thanksgiving special for thousands of neighbors.

The Feast of Giving takes place Thursday, November 26, 2026, from 11 AM to 2 PM at the Dayton Convention Center. The event is free and open to all.

When the Feast of Giving reopened its doors last year, Northwestern Mutual - Dayton & West Chester was there to help make it happen, and we're thrilled to welcome them back as a returning sponsor this year!

Their support helps thousands of neighbors across Dayton enjoy a warm meal, live music, and good company on Thanksgiving Day. Partners who keep coming back are the reason this tradition, started in 1969, is still going strong.

We have some exciting news to share! This year, we're proud to welcome as a first-year partner for the Feast of Giving.

Gosiger was founded right here in Dayton back in 1922. More than a century later, this family-owned company is still helping build American manufacturing with CNC machine tools, automation, and one of the best service teams in the industry. We know a thing or two about Dayton roots. The Feast has been bringing neighbors together since 1969!

Thanks to partners like Gosiger, thousands of people will enjoy a warm meal, live music, and good company this Thanksgiving. No one in Dayton should spend the holiday hungry or alone.

We’re proud to welcome Greater Dayton RTA back as a Feast of Giving partner.

This year, RTA will be offering free rides systemwide on Thanksgiving Day, helping ensure thousands of neighbors can join us for a warm holiday meal at the Dayton Convention Center on November 26.

Volunteer Spotlight: Crescendo Baccus

If you’ve been to the Feast of Giving, you’ve probably felt the energy the moment Crescendo Baccus and his band starts playing.

A proud Dayton native, Crescendo began drumming at two years old and has grown into one of the region’s most versatile musicians, leading C. Baccus & Company and performing at places like Levitt Pavilion Dayton and Columbus Jazz and Ribs Fest.

Crescendo’s connection to the Feast goes back to 2012, and he’s led our musical entertainment since 2016. When the Feast returned after the pandemic, he said he was “honored and humbled to be invited back.”

We’re grateful for the joy he brings to thousands each Thanksgiving.
