Sidewalk Soldiers Promote hope, help, & healing to s*x trafficking survivors and populations that are most vulnerable.

Sidewalk Soldiers is a faith based 501c3 nonprofit that offers hope, help & healing to survivors of human trafficking. Sidewalk Soldiers exists to serve and advocate for human trafficking survivors, connect with those currently being trafficked, and educate communities on human trafficking. The purpose of this organization is:

-Organize and conduct outreaches to connect with those at-risk for t

rafficking or those who are currently being exploited

-Provide exit paths for folks being s*xually exploited

-Connect folks being trafficked and human trafficking survivors with resources, community, and housing

-Provide advocates, peer support, mentorship, life coaching & spiritual guidance to survivors during all phases of healing and recovery.

-Promote awareness and information on the intersection of drug addiction and s*x trafficking

-Educate our communities about human trafficking and prevention

Sunday afternoon, our Sidewalk Soldiers sister and Peer Support Supervisor, Mandi, passed away 💔

Mandi has been part of our Sidewalk Soldiers team since the opening of Jen’s Haven Drop In center and helped shape our peer support program and staff through her supervision. Mandi was golden ✨

She never believed in giving up on people or writing them off. She believed in removing barriers, advocating, speaking out against injustice, and making sure people knew they mattered. Mandi cared deeply, and she made people feel cared for. She was truly one of a kind.

Thank you, Jesus, for Mandi’s life and for bringing her into our Sidewalk Soldiers family. We may not understand why her time with us was cut short, and we surely wish we could have had her longer, but we find comfort knowing she is now resting and made whole again.

“Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.” — Proverbs 31:31

Mandi gave so much of herself to this community. Her earthly work is over, but her impact will continue to touch lives. Our community is better because she was here. 💜

We will miss you and never forget you, Mandi!

Today is a bittersweet day at Sidewalk Soldiers as we celebrate Amanda on her last day with us.

Amanda has been such an instrumental part of the success of Sidewalk Soldiers. From day one, she has been a bright, shining light and someone who truly embodies the love of Christ in the way she cares for every woman who walks through our doors.

She has been an incredible leader, an amazing peer supporter, and a steady source of compassion, encouragement, and hope. The impact she has made on the women we serve, and on all of us who have had the privilege of working alongside her, will not be forgotten.

While we are incredibly sad to see her go, we are also SO excited and proud of her as she takes this next step in her professional career! We know she is going to continue making an incredible difference wherever she goes.

Amanda, you will be deeply missed, but we are cheering you on every step of the way! Thank you for sharing your heart, your gifts, and your light with Sidewalk Soldiers. We love you and are so proud of you! 🫶
