Girls Emerging Into Maturity

Hey Party People! 🎉 Girls Emerging into Maturity is stoked to wrap up our Express Yourself Session, "Think Local 2026"!

Hello Community,

Girls Emerging into Maturity is excited to conclude our Express Yourself Session, "Think Local 2026"!

Throughout this session, our participants learned about urban planning. They hosted our annual neighborhood cleanup on Philadelphia Avenue and Riverview Avenue, and visited the Human Relations Council, Miami Valley Regional Planning, and the Office of Sustainability. Applying their newfound knowledge of how cities operate, the girls developed their own futuristic city designs.

We would love for you to join us in celebrating the reveal of their new towns!

Event Details & Highlights:

- Admission: Free entry for the whole family
- Activities:
- Costume-friendly event with free Halloween candy
- Bonfire with s'mores
- Free glow-in-the-dark games (Around the World basketball, co****le, laser tag, and catch)
- Glow-in-the-dark painting ($2 canvas / $5 hat painting)
- Raffle & Food:
- $10 raffle ticket for a 50" TV
- $5 meals (hot dog or hamburger with chips and a drink)

With grace and servitude, we also have two graduating seniors who will be receiving our Bonetta Denis Book Scholarship. The scholarship honors our late board member and founder, who believed education unlocks doors for everyone. If you would like to donate to the scholarship, you can do so via Cash App at $GemsN2Maturity or by check made out to Girls Emerging into Maturity.
