Save a child in DRCongo
was founded by Faustino Katambo in KINSHASA in September 2011. This specialized home for orphans (mother/and or father), takes care of vulnerable children and works to respond favorably to the difficult situations they encounter.

Indeed, the orphanage takes in children abandoned at the maternity hospital or left to die in the street. Save a child in DRCongo is a real family that gives these children hope for a normal life: to eat their fill, to be cared for, to learn at school, and to give them an identity.

Orphelinat Les Enfants prodigues: Search for partners

A missionary went to the Democratic Republic of Congo to visit the children of the orphanage Les Enfants Prodigues (Orphanage administered by Le Pain Quotidien) and to encourage the staff.

Indeed, times are becoming more and more difficult. Poverty leads the population to become more and more greedy: everything can be bought!

So we are trying to make sure that the children are not influenced by this current of shenanigans that engenders lies and falsehood!

The purpose of this mission was to take stock of the evolution of the children and to determine with the older ones an educational project and a professional career plan.

Currently, we are looking for local partners who will allow us to support the needs of the young adult orphans so that they can become more and more autonomous.

These partnerships will aim to : Finance training in computer science or new technologies, offer internships for integration into working life...
