Due to unforeseen circumstances that are completely out of my control, tomorrow’s 1-Year Anniversary Event is being postponed.

I’m incredibly disappointed, as I was so excited and had hoped to make this our best event yet. After posting a poll in our private Facebook group, the community overwhelmingly agreed that postponing was the best decision given the circumstances.

I want to give a huge thank you to Next 5 Fitness and Madden’s Lounge for going above and beyond in offering their space and trying to help make this event happen. They truly understood how important this was to me and did everything they could. If you’re looking for a gym or a great place to grab lunch, please consider supporting them!

While I’m sad that we won’t be celebrating tomorrow, this isn’t the end of the anniversary event. I’m going to regroup, come up with a new plan, and hopefully host an even bigger and better celebration later this summer.

Thank you all for your understanding, support, and patience. We’ll make this anniversary celebration worth the wait. ❤️

I wanted to quickly address questions about today’s event photos since quite a few moms have reached out asking how they’ll receive them. 🤍

The gallery link will be shared in the private Facebook group and on our Instagram stories. This helps keep things simple for both attendees and our photographer, since she’s able to create one gallery instead of sending individual links to nearly 100 families.

A few moms also mentioned afterward that they would prefer their child not be included in the shared gallery. I completely understand and respect that. At the same time, with 92 RSVPs, it becomes very difficult to sort through every image afterward and remember which families did or did not want photos shared.

When registering for events, there is a media release included in the waiver. I realized some people may not have noticed that portion, so I just wanted to clarify moving forward.

Please know I truly do want to respect every family’s comfort level and privacy. As these events continue to grow, it’s unfortunately impossible for me to remember every individual preference for photos and social media sharing.

Photos and recap videos will continue to be part of these events. If at any point you’d prefer not to be included, please feel free to step out of frame or let me know in the moment so we can do our best to accommodate that.

For the professional portrait portion specifically, it unfortunately isn’t realistic for photographers to create separate galleries or individually filter photos for each family.

Moving forward, if you are uncomfortable with photos being included in the shared gallery or on social media, I completely understand and would encourage you to skip the photography portion of the event.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you after today’s incredible Mother’s Day event 💗

Our three sponsors truly went above and beyond for all of us. As a stay-at-home mom, I sometimes wish I got to experience the little things like Muffins with Mom or the sweet crafts that so many moms get through daycare and preschool. This event was really about giving back to moms who selflessly pour into everyone else day in and day out.

Awaken Pelvic Therapy absolutely spoiled us with the craft station. She had multiple color options, everything printed on cardstock, and ran the entire station so smoothly from start to finish.

Blonde's Bottle Service LLC put together the most amazing snack table. It was even better than I imagined — little sandwiches, fruit, drinks, cookies, pastries, and so many thoughtful touches.

And my friend Emily from E Fachting Photography donated her time to take photos for every mom who attended completely free. Not only did she spend two hours taking photos today, but she’ll spend even more time editing and getting them back to everyone. Emily is constantly giving back to her community through pay-what-you-can sessions, free mommy & me photos, and always finding ways to help others.

Please make sure to follow all of our sponsors and support their businesses whenever you can. I know times can be tight and not everyone can purchase services right away, but even something as simple as liking, commenting on, or sharing their posts goes such a long way for small business owners.

It was such a beautiful morning, and I truly hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did 💗
