What an incredible week for Kiwanis in the Mighty Florida District! 🎉💙💛

When Florida Kiwanis Foundation Leaders come together, great things happen! 👍

Current Governor of the Florida District of Kiwanis International and Past President of the Florida Kiwanis Foundation, Tommy Mills, joined forces with Jim Wiley, two-time Past President and current Advisor to the Florida Kiwanis Foundation; Keith Forehand, Past President and current Trustee of the Florida Kiwanis Foundation, and Club Leadership Education (CLE) Trainer; and David Roth, current President of the Florida Kiwanis Foundation and Kiwanis Vice Governor Designate, to help build a brand new Kiwanis Club in Jackson County! AND we did just that! With help of a great group of Fellow Kiwanians.

During our organizational meeting in Marianna, it was fantastic to see so many Florida Kiwanis leaders out in full force, building fellowship, developing leaders, growing Kiwanis, and creating new opportunities to serve children and strengthen communities. 💙💛👏

What a great experience bringing Kiwanis leadership together to help this new club get off to a strong start. We are so excited to see the great things the new Kiwanis Club of Jackson County will accomplish!

Together, we’re growing Kiwanis and changing lives, one child and one community at a time! 🌟🙌💙💛

A former Key Clubber, Bob serves as pastor of St. Luke’s, oversees the local Civil Air Patrol, and supports several community organizations. We’re thrilled to have him joining us Thursday night!

Visited Harmony Masonic Lodge No. 3 this evening with Jim Wylie to share the vision for organizing a new Kiwanis Club of Jackson County. We believe the Masonic Lodge and Kiwanis share a common commitment to serving others, and it was a pleasure discussing how we can work together to make an even greater impact in our community.

A special thank you to Michael Taussig, President of my Home Club the Kiwanis Club of Plantation, for making a special appearance at Florida Kiwanis DCON 2026!

As we celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Kiwanis Club of Plantation, I was especially grateful to have Michael there to support me and proudly represent our club. Your presence and support meant so much to me!

A Special Thank You to My Friend Jim ❤️

As I look back on this convention and everything that has brought me to this point in my Kiwanis journey, I keep thinking about the people who have been there along the way. Jim is definitely one of those people.

Jim, I want you to know how much I appreciate you and Sandra. You two are an amazing couple, and your friendship and support mean more to me than I can say.

Some of my most memorable times in Kiwanis have been the times we’ve spent together especially our time in Tallahassee during Children’s Week. Those experiences, the conversations, the laughs, and the time spent working together for the kids are memories I will always carry with me. They are the kinds of moments that remind me why I love Kiwanis and why the relationships we build through service are so special.

And now, as I look ahead to this next chapter, you have continued to be there for me, helping me get through convention, helping me find my way with the Florida Kiwanis Foundation, and simply being someone I can count on.

And I can't forget Be Be running around with Vote for David Roth for 2026 Florida Kiwanis Vice Governor Pin! Those moments make it even more special. 😊

Jim, even though your FKF alAdvisor role may no longer be official, you'll always be my advisor, my friend, and someone whose guidance I value tremendously.
