🇺🇸 Troop 7 Celebrates Independence Day 🇺🇸 Featuring “Forward America” by Norman Rockwell

As we gather to honor the birth of our nation, we reflect on the values that unite us—freedom, service, and community. Norman Rockwell’s “Forward America”, originally published on the cover of Boys’ Life magazine in February 1951, captures the essence of Scouting’s role in American life: young citizens stepping forward with pride, purpose, and hope.

This painting reminds us that every Scout, past and present, carries the torch of liberty. On this Independence Day, we recommit to the and , living with , , and .

Camporee in Scoutmaster Theresa Case Jacobsmeier 's backyard? Nope! Recovering from summer camp at Howard H. Cherry Scout Reservation - Camp Wakonda! 🏕️🏞️
While members of BSA Troop 7, Davenport, Iowa and Troop 92, DeWitt relax from a wet and hot week together, the tents are drying and the adults are napping!
One week off then it's time for our local camp at Loud Thunder Scout Reservation! Never a dull summer with scouting!
