Hi everyone!

While my recovery has had a few set backs, I’m still able to crochet and completed a few blankets over the last couple weeks. One was a repeat color and pattern, another a surprise for a friend for her upcoming baby shower so I won’t be sharing that one until later, and most recently this color combo with a new border pattern recently learned 😊

The Moira in the Wattle stitch 😍

With just a little over a week away from my surgery, projects will be paused while I prepare and recover but I’ve got plenty of blankets completed and ready to go in anticipation of this break!

Crochet seems to be well within my restrictions, however, so as long as I’m feeling up to it, I don’t see being down for the count for long 😁 🩵

One year of Hayden’s Hug, hundreds of blankets donated to clinics, hospitals, women’s wellness groups, families and their little ones, and we’re still going.

This last week I went through all my scrap yarn from blankets made over the year and decided to make a keepsake blanket for us. I underestimated what I had andI was able to make 2 with still more leftover 😅

If you’ve been here since day 1, thank you for all your support this year and going forward! It means so, so much! If you’re new here, welcome!

If you would like to donate and sponsor a blanket, our Venmo link is below. Any amount helps and is so appreciated! We do the bulk of our shopping with Mary Maxim and Michaels and use Caron Simply Soft yarn if you would rather donate with gift cards or yarn. We use 4 skeins per blanket 😊
