**PLEASE HELP IF YOU HAVE THE MEANS, MATERIAL OR TALENTS**

* we are calling this the “Red Letter helpers of Iowa for the love of LA❤️❤️❤️”*

Ok so all hands on deck! I have some loved ones in the Los Angeles area that are front line workers in the medical field! Two woman that mean so much to me, that I can’t even explain how devastated our families would be, let alone their community if they fell ill and was not able to help others! They have ZERO masks avail to their workers out there! ZERO masks people, ZERO!

Anyway, I am heading out to get the materials I need to hand make a filtered mask! And will be mailing them out to her Monday! Please feel free to help with donations of CLEAN, FRESHLY LAUNDERED old leggings, Tshirts etc (preferably black or gray) that you no longer need - MUST BE FROM SMOKE FREE HOME, and from a hypoallergenic Pet home or pet free home-, donations of Aluminum Foil, Donations of more hot glue guns, glue sticks, donations of rubber bands, donations of N95 masks (even if you can only spare 2, that’s 2 people that can work 1 shift protected, this is preferred, as it will be less we have to hand make), donations of your talents, I’m willing to share the how to video to those that want to help make these masks for LA! I am about to go buy what I can to make at least enough for these two ladies to work 1 month (that’s my goal)! They are simple to make; however will be disposable and one time use unfortunately! So we need a lot of them! I want to help more than just these two ladies, I’d love to make enough / receive enough donations for them to be able to pass out to their co-workers!

Pray for him/her and feed them ❤️❤️
We get criticized “Why are you feeding the homeless, the money they do get they just spend on drugs or alcohol “ to that we say, that is between them and God!
The Bible states:
Proverbs 19:17 (NIV)
“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done.”
When you do something for the poor, it’s as good as doing something for the Lord!
That’s why we do what we do, it fills tummy’s and fills souls with spiritual food!
Love each other! Even those that don’t know our Lord! Let them see that God IS Love, let them see that through YOU!

No matter how bad your day is.... you will always be put in the right frame of mind when you choose to further the kingdom of God!! Thank you Lord for allowing me to be a part of the Red Letter Ministries! My Great-Aunt Dee and I were able to feed 10 hungry tummy’s and at the same time, serve 10 souls spirituality through the letters in the lunches and letting each person know God loves them! ❤️ planning for next week begins now. 🙏

Another Red Letter Day today! Each meal had a fried egg and cheese sandwich, chips, pears and a soda. I have never done it on a Saturday morning before, but I think that will be my new time frame ❤️❤️ there were grateful hungry bellies out there today LOL I am hoping it was their spirit that was fed more by the letters in the lunch sacks ... God‘s hand at work

Red Letter meals was out today serving Breakfast tacos, chips and fudge! Some new faces were delivered to today, and always a couple faces that we have seen before. Such a rewarding feeling to help those in need! ❤️ praise God!

Another great day with Red Letter Ministries this afternoon.

We passed out homemade sausage and pepperoni pizza, chips, cookie and a cold water for lunch today. We had several repeat souls that we were able to serve, but the best part were the four new souls we served today (people who have never read our letter or been served by us before).

We were so blessed to be out and about today!

Red Letter Ministries was out again yesterday. We met some gentlemen who were extremely grateful for their sack lunches. Thank you to my great-aunt Dee for helping me hand out lunches yesterday! One of the gentlemen were the same from Wednesday, he said “where did you buy them burritos you passed out Wednesday? They sure were good, I’d like to have me some more of them”. ❤️ I said, well I made them homemade. He said “I wondered who could cook like that!” ❤️ he don’t know what his gracious words did for ME as much as the lunch and letter we passed on to him did for him!

Today was the first day of Red Letters Ministries working in the community! It was amazing to find a few men who needed some help. We drop off lunches and gave words of encouragement. It was so satisfying, just knowing they were fed with food and fed spiritually through our words of encouragement and the letters that were attached to the meals!
I praise God for laying this on our hearts and giving us the means by which to handle to need.

A big thank you to the souls that helped another soul today ❤️❤️
