The 6th Annual Slade Norton Memorial Softball Tournament was another incredible weekend, and we truly cannot thank everyone enough for helping make it so special. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who played in the softball tournament and bags tournament, cheered from the stands, helped with setup and cleanup, ran the scoreboard, umpired games, volunteered throughout the weekend, or simply stopped by to show your support. Every single person who helped in any way played a part in making this weekend a success, and we appreciate you more than you know. 💙

There were so many other events happening this same weekend, which makes the continued support from our family, friends, teams, volunteers, and community mean even more to us. The fact that so many of you continue to show up year after year is something we never take for granted.

Last night, we had the honor of awarding the remaining Slade Norton Memorial $1,000 scholarships. Thanks to the continued support of our community, we were able to award seven scholarships this year to outstanding students from Darlington High School and Pecatonica High School.

We are incredibly proud of these deserving recipients and all they have accomplished throughout their high school careers. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to their futures have earned them this recognition.

Congratulations 🎉to each of our scholarship recipients! We wish you continued success and the very best as you begin your college journey and pursue your goals. We look forward to seeing all that you achieve in the years ahead.

THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate and honor Slade at the 5th Annual Memorial Softball 🥎 Tournament! The turnout was amazing, the weather ☀️ was perfect, and as always, we had a great time. We couldn’t have done it without all of you! A huge thank you to everyone who helped set up, serve food 🌮🌭, sling b**r 🍺, clean up, and everything in between.
