THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate and honor Slade at the 5th Annual Memorial Softball 🥎 Tournament! The turnout was amazing, the weather ☀️ was perfect, and as always, we had a great time. We couldn’t have done it without all of you! A huge thank you to everyone who helped set up, serve food 🌮🌭, sling beer 🍺, clean up, and everything in between.

Special shoutouts to those who helped make the event a success: friends and family who volunteered, all the teams that played & donated some of their winnings back, Jerry Doescher, John & Amy at Hollandale Grocery, Jen at Stroz, Village of Hollandale, VIP Mobile (Kevin and Anna), Brian at RBS, Mike Wirth, McKenzie Homan, Kyle at Rent It, Sami for DJ’ing, Kayla at Fuel Good Nutrition and anyone we may have missed. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for the support from our amazing community, all of whom continue to honor Slade’s memory.

All donations and proceeds will go towards Slade Norton’s Memorial Fund for local scholarships and community donations. Thank you all once again & see you next year! ♥️♥️

Hey We are just a few days away from what looks to be a beautiful weekend!! 💥We can't wait to see everyone and have a few cold beers 🍻 while remembering Slade! We're still looking for some help in the concession stand🌭🌮 on Saturday & Sunday. As usual, the family will be around and working but we're looking for some friendly volunteers to help us out! The money raised goes back to the community and towards scholarships at Pec and Darlington. We are happy to announce this year's recipients of the Slade Norton Memorial $1,000 scholarships. 🎓 Our 2025 scholarship recipients pictured below are: Darlington - Isaac Crist, Abby Davis, Reese Schilling and Lizzie Meylor; Pecatonica – Cole Phillips, Diana Hendrickson and Levi Krebbs. Congratulations 🥳🎉 to these deserving students. 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓

These amazing students share similar qualities with Slade - a strong work ethic, fun loving and a background or career interest in agriculture. Our annual softball tournament allows us the opportunity to support and award scholarships to deserving high school seniors. This year’s tournament will be held September 12–14 in Hollandale, WI.

We just wanted to give a big heartfelt thank you to everyone for coming out to celebrate and honor Slade at the 4th annual Slade Norton memorial softball tournament. It was a great turnout and always such a good time! As always, a special shout out to those who help make the event successful: friends and family that volunteer, all the teams that play, John & Amy at Hollandale Grocery, Jen at Stroz, Village of Hollandale, VIP Mobile (Kevin and Anna), Brian at RBS, Mike Wirth, Kyle at Rent It, Sami for DJ’ing, Kayla FUEL Good Nutrition Club, Amber at Lucky Cow and anyone else we may have missed. It takes a lot to make things like this happen and we are so grateful for the friends and family we have who love Slade to keep this tournament afloat! All donations and proceeds will be put towards Slade Norton’s memorial fund for local scholarships and donating back to the communities. Thank you all again!
