Yesterday was nothing short of AMAZING! ❤️

On behalf of Soul Serve Community Kitchen, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to every single person who helped make our Back to School Community Day a tremendous success.

To every family that came out, every child whose smile lit up the day, every volunteer who gave their time, every donor who gave from their heart, every vendor who participated, and every community member who supported us—THANK YOU. Your generosity, kindness, and willingness to serve made this event possible.

A very special thank you to Pastor Willis J. Ferrell and the Redemption Center Church family for opening your doors and allowing us to host this event at your church. Thank you for always believing in our mission, standing beside us, and being such a tremendous blessing to Soul Serve Community Kitchen. Your unwavering support means more than words can express.

We also want to recognize our local leaders who took the time to come out and support this event:

• Councilman Bryant Hood – thank you for always showing up for our community and supporting initiatives that uplift our youth and families.
• Councilman Lee Vogler – thank you for your continued encouragement and for taking the time to be present with us.
• Mayor Alonzo Jones – thank you for stopping by and supporting this event. Your presence showed the importance of investing in our community and our children.

Thank you to Allegiance Mentoring Service INC. for partnering with us to make this event a reality. Together, we were able to make a positive impact on so many families.

We’re also grateful that we were able to deliver book bags and school supplies to families who couldn’t make it to the event, because serving our community doesn’t stop when the event ends.

This wasn’t just a giveaway—it was a reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with one purpose: to serve others with love, compassion, and unity.

We are incredibly humbled by the outpouring of support and look forward to continuing to serve our community through future outreach events.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in Soul Serve Community Kitchen. This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to continue making a difference—together. ❤️
