⚠️ Due to the inclement weather expected for this weekend, the 8th Annual Memorial Day Cookout & Block Party has been postponed for the safety of our community, vendors, volunteers, and children. We truly apologize for any inconvenience, but we want everyone to be able to come out and enjoy the event safely. A new date will be announced soon! Thank you all for the continued love and support for Soul Serve Community Kitchen and The Redemption Center Church. Please continue to share and stay tuned for updates!

As we continue serving our community through meal giveaways, outreach events, and community gatherings, we’re asking for help keeping our people hydrated this summer! ☀️

All donations will help support our Memorial Day Community Event and future community events where we provide free meals and resources to those in need.

Today was definitely one for the books 🖤🍽️

I just wanna genuinely thank everybody that inboxed me, signed up, shared the post, or put someone’s name down to receive a lunch today. We delivered to OVER 100 people today across the city, and whew 😭 it definitely took some time, but y’all were so patient and understanding with us the entire day. That meant more than y’all know.

Riding around the city being able to provide meals to people that truly wanted or needed them really warmed my heart. Moments like today remind me exactly why I started Soul Serve Community Kitchen in the first place. Just seeing the smiles, hearing the thank you’s, and feeling the love throughout the community was everything.

Today was a success, and this is only the beginning 🙏🏾
I can’t wait to do it again.

🚚💙 SoulServe Community Kitchen will be out TODAY delivering lunches throughout the community between 12 PM – 1 PM!

We ask that everyone please be patient and bear with us as we make our rounds. We are working hard to make sure every registered individual receives their meal in a timely manner. 🍽️

We want to sincerely thank everyone who signed up, registered, shared our posts, and supported this community outreach. Your love and support help us continue our mission of serving those in need and spreading kindness one plate at a time.

This is only the beginning — and we look forward to providing many more meals and community outreach events in the future. ❤️
