The In Between: Faith in the "Now What?"
Week 4: Finding Solid Ground Again

Sometimes one of the hardest parts of walking through a difficult season is realizing that life keeps moving… even when internally, you still feel unsteady.

People go back to work.
Schedules continue.
Responsibilities remain.

But inside?
You still feel like you’re trying to regain your footing after the ground beneath you shifted.

Week 4 of *The In-Between: Faith in the “Now What?”* is about learning how to find solid ground again when life has shaken your sense of stability.

One line from this week especially stayed with me:

“God rarely rushes people He is restoring.”

💛 Healing is not weakness
💛 Needing stability is not failure
💛 God meets us in the pit—not after we climb out of it

Scripture this week:
“He drew me up from the pit of destruction… and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.” — Psalm 40:2

If you’ve been feeling emotionally shaky lately, this week’s devotional is for you.

The In Between: Faith in the "Now What"
Week 3: Emotional Whiplash

One of the hardest parts of walking through difficult seasons isn’t always what happened…

It’s the emotional whiplash afterward.

One day you feel okay.
The next day, one small thing triggers it all over again.

Some moments you feel strong and grounded.
Other moments you feel anxious, overwhelmed, numb, emotional, exhausted… or all of them within the same hour.

And if we’re honest, sometimes that makes us question ourselves.

💭 “Why am I still reacting like this?”
💭 “Why can’t I just move on?”
💭 “Why do I feel fine one day and drained the next?”

Week 3 of *The In-Between: Faith in the “Now What?”* is about learning how to walk through emotional healing with God instead of fighting it alone.

One line from this week especially stood out to me:

“Emotions make terrible leaders… but important indicators.”

💛 Feeling deeply does not make your faith weak
💛 God is not intimidated by your emotions
💛 Healing is often messier—and slower—than we expect

Scripture this week:
“My soul also is greatly troubled…” — Psalm 6:3

If you’ve been struggling emotionally lately, this week’s devotional is for you.

Ever lay down at night exhausted… but your mind just won’t stop replaying everything?

The conversation.
The situation.
The mistake.
The “what ifs.”

Replay. Analyze. Replay again.

Sometimes the hardest battles aren’t happening around us… they’re happening within us.

Week 2 of my devotional series, *The In-Between: Faith in the “Now What?”*, is about those moments when your thoughts feel trapped in a cycle you can’t seem to shut off.

One line in this week’s devotional especially stayed with me:

“Not every thought deserves permanent access to your mind.”

💛 You are not weak because you struggle mentally
💛 God is not overwhelmed by your thoughts
💛 And healing often begins by bringing those thoughts back to Him—again and again

Scripture this week:
“We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 10:5 (ESV)

If your mind has been heavy lately, this week’s devotional is for you.

Motherhood is one of the clearest reflections of God’s love we will ever see.

It is found in the quiet sacrifices no one notices.
In the late nights, whispered prayers, tired hugs, and unwavering faith.
In the way a mother keeps showing up — even when she feels empty herself.

Today we honor the women who nurture, encourage, protect, teach, and love with open hands and faithful hearts.

To the mothers in every season —
the joyful, the exhausted, the grieving, the praying, the waiting, the single mothers, foster mothers, spiritual mothers, grandmothers, and women longing to become mothers —
you are seen by God.

“Her children rise up and call her blessed.” — Proverbs 31:28

May you feel the love of the Lord surrounding you today.
May He strengthen you where you are weary, comfort you where you are hurting, and remind you that the seeds you sow in love and faith matter more than you know.
Happy Mother’s Day 💐

Ever have one of those moments where something happens and you just sit there thinking…

“What just happened?”

Not always something huge.
Sometimes it’s one conversation… one decision… one moment…
and suddenly everything feels off.

Your mind starts replaying it.
Trying to make sense of it.
Wondering what you missed.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that, the question comes:

“God… where are You in this?”

If you’ve been there (or you’re there right now), you’re not alone.

I just shared Week 1 of a new devotional series called
“The In-Between: Faith in the ‘Now What?’”

It’s for those moments that don’t make sense—the ones that shake what felt steady.

This first one is about what to do when you’re sitting in that “what just happened” space.

💛 You don’t need answers to come to God
💛 You don’t need to have it all figured out
💛 You just need to be honest

✨ A Life Aligned ✨

Over the past few days, we’ve talked about…

✔️ Trying something new
✔️ Making today better than yesterday
✔️ Dreaming with God
✔️ Finding joy in the everyday

And here’s what it all comes down to…

💛 A life aligned with Him.

When your heart is centered on God, everything starts to shift:
➡️ You step out in faith instead of fear
➡️ You grow instead of striving for perfection
➡️ You dream with purpose
➡️ You find joy right where you are

📖 “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” – Matthew 6:33

This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about aligning your heart.

When you seek Him first, everything else begins to fall into place.

✨ So as this series wraps up, here’s the question to carry with you:

👉 What would it look like to truly put God first in your everyday life?

🎉 Do Something Fun 🎉

When was the last time you actually had fun… not on vacation, not on a special day—but just in the middle of your everyday life?

So often we get caught up in the routine—serving God, working hard, taking care of our families—that life starts to feel like something we just need to get through.

But what if joy was never meant to be saved for later?

📖 “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” – Psalm 118:24

God didn’t design your life to be lived on autopilot.
He created laughter. Connection. Moments that make your heart feel light.

✨ Fun doesn’t have to be big.
✨ It doesn’t have to be planned.
✨ It can be found in what you’re already doing.

Turn on music while you cook.
Laugh with your kids.
Step outside and breathe it in.

Joy is not a distraction from your purpose—it’s part of it.

💛 So today… do something fun.

👉 What’s one simple thing you can do today to bring a little more joy into your life?

✨ What Are You Dreaming Of? ✨

We all have dreams—things we hope for, pray about, and quietly hold in our hearts.

But have you ever wondered…
💭 Do my dreams align with God’s plan?
💭 Am I allowed to dream big and still be obedient?
💭 What if what I want looks different than what God is doing?

Here’s the truth: God isn’t asking you to stop dreaming—He’s inviting you to dream with Him.

When we delight in Him, our hearts begin to align with His… and suddenly, our dreams start to take on deeper purpose, greater meaning, and eternal impact.

📖 “Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” – Psalm 37:4

Maybe today is the day to stop wrestling and start surrendering.

Lay your dreams before Him. Trust Him with the process. And watch how He shapes something even better than you imagined. 💛

👉 What are you dreaming of right now?

Sometimes growth doesn’t look like progress… it looks like trying again. 💛

Have you ever watched a toddler figure something out?
They try, fail, try again—and then suddenly… it clicks.

What if our faith journey is the same way?

We don’t always get it right the first time. We stumble. We repeat mistakes. We feel like we’re not moving forward. But God isn’t asking for perfection—He’s asking us to keep going.

📖 “Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.” – Proverbs 24:16

Every day is a new opportunity to grow, to trust, and to take one small step closer to Him.

✨ Today doesn’t have to be perfect… it just has to be better than yesterday.

🌅✨ He is Risen! Celebrate Redemption! ✨🌅

Today is not just a holiday—it’s a celebration of victory, hope, and new life.

Because of Jesus, we are not defined by our past.
We are not held by our mistakes.
We are redeemed, forgiven, and made new. 💛

📖 “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.” – Ephesians 1:7

The tomb is empty.
Grace has won.
And redemption is ours.

🙌 Today we celebrate not just what He did… but what it means for us—freedom, restoration, and a future filled with hope.

Happy Easter! He is risen indeed!
