Earlier this week, we met with Ed Barnhart from the Maya Exploration Center. We had a great conversation about the challenges that archaeologists encounter in their research. The CookieBot presented their work and had a very engaging and thought provoking discussion. We learned a lot and got some amazing inspiration for our project. Thanks again Ed Barnhart!

The CookieBots had an absolutely amazing experience today! We got to meet with the incredible explorer Albert Lin who hosts Lost Cities on National Geographic TV.

We shared our ideas for our FIRST Robotics FLL Unearthed innovation project and got some valuable insight and feedback.

This was followed by a very inspiring talk and left us all ready to go out and explore!

Huge thanks to Blackhawk Museum for both bringing Albert Lin to our town and inviting us to attend.

The CookieBots have started to dig in to the new 2025-26 FIRST Robotics First LEGO League season. This year’s theme is “Unearthed” so we’re learning about archaeology as well as robotics!

We kicked off the pre-season by designing two new robots based on our experience from last season. They CookieBots did a Bake Off recently to compare the designs. Stay tuned for results as they unveil this year’s design!
