The Boaz Initiative is excited to announce our first ever Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction Fundraiser!

📅 July 10
📍 In the Social Hall @ Fairview Church
🕕 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Join us for an evening of great food, fellowship as we raise support for The Boaz Initiative and our mission of helping women and children facing difficult circumstances.

We'll also be hosting a Silent Auction featuring items donated by local businesses, organizations, and community supporters.

If you, your business, or someone you know would be willing to donate an item, gift basket, gift certificate, service, or other auction item, we would love to hear from you.

We’ve shared the heart behind The Boaz Initiative and why we started this.
Now a lot of people have been asking, “How can we help?”

First off, thank you. That means more than you know.

Right now, we’re in the early stages of building this, and the biggest thing we’re doing is preparing to be ready when the next need arises.

Because the reality is, when someone is in crisis, there’s no time to wait.

Here are a few ways you can be part of this:

• Pray for this mission and the people we’ll be able to help
• Share this page so more people can be aware and involved
• Follow along for updates and opportunities to support

We’ve had a few people ask why we chose the name The Boaz Initiative, and we wanted to share the heart behind it.

In the Bible, there’s a story about a woman named Ruth and her mother-in-law Naomi. They had lost everything and found themselves in a place of real need, with no clear path forward.

That’s where Boaz comes in.

Boaz saw Ruth in her vulnerability and didn’t ignore it. He made sure she was protected. He made sure she had what she needed. And most importantly, he treated her with dignity and kindness in a moment where she could have easily been overlooked.

He didn’t just offer words.
He stepped in and provided.

That’s the model we’re trying to follow.

The Boaz Initiative exists to step into those same kinds of moments…when someone is in need, when the situation is uncertain, and when even a few days of support can make all the difference.

We’re not here to be the long-term solution.
We’re here to be the bridge…to help carry someone from crisis to stability.

Everything we do is rooted in that same heart…to love, to serve, and to show up when it matters most.

Over the past few weeks, something has been placed on our hearts that we can’t ignore.

We’ve seen firsthand that there are real situations happening right here in our community where women and children find themselves in crisis with nowhere to turn. Not because help doesn’t exist, but because the system doesn’t always move fast enough or fit every situation.

And in those moments, even a few days without support can feel overwhelming.

That’s why we’re starting The Boaz Initiative – A Village of Hope.

We are a licensed nonprofit, and our goal is simple. When a need arises, we want to be ready to step in immediately. To provide a safe place, food, basic essentials, and most importantly, to remind someone they are not alone.

We are not here to fix everything.
We are here to stand in the gap.

Everything we do is rooted in the love of Christ. Not in a way that forces anything on anyone, but in a way that shows what it looks like to truly care, to walk alongside someone, and to love because He first loved us.

This is just the beginning, and we know it’s going to take a village.
