We're sorry we've been away. Amber, our founder, is sad to report that her father lost his year long battle with cancer last month.

We will again be participating in Relay for Life with the Danville based Tri-County Relay For Life organization in (2) weeks, with a renewed disdain for the disease.

• Pants: Men’s medium (school pants must be drawstring, no cargo pockets)

😩 We don't know what to say. We're grief-stricken here at ND. We're reaching out to Mt Carmel authorities for a true list of needs and will work directly with them to send assistance to these families. Watch the page for more details.

Be careful with the dozens of individuals claiming to be family and friends of the family of those affected and asking for donations to be sent directly to themselves. Seek out trusted sources of community aid. 🙏🏻

New Direction has a non-perishable food donation box set up in the Annex building of GMC, Danville. Call 717-801-1851 to drop off donations bc It's inside a locked building. All donations will go to the Danville Food Bank at Shiloh UCC. ⭐️Please see their FB page for item requests.⭐️

We understand that the recent SNAP payment shutdown has posed significant challenges for many families, increasing the risk of food insecurity for children in our district and community.
We are so thankful to have organizations like Central Susquehanna Opportunities in our region who have reached out to extend their assistance to ensure that students and their families receive the support they need during this challenging time. The mission of CSO is to provide comprehensive support to our community that helps families work towards economic mobility.
CSO has set up these six additional mobile food distributions for November.
