We have 35 amazing teams and nearly 400 walkers from all over New England signed up for our CHD Awareness walk and FUN family picnic on Sunday, June 28 in Danvers, MA. It's a great way to meet other heart families and have some free fun, activities, and food. It's really our way to say THANK YOU to all of our families for supporting us all year long.

Register today as a team or a walker, it's not too late! There is no registration fee or fundraising requirement. Registration is required so we have enough food for everyone!

Today and tomorrow we have two members of our awesome team in DC joining and other incredible voices from the CHD community to educate lawmakers on the experiences of the CHD community. We hope our stories will

* Support $4.3B in funding for the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute,

* Fund $10M for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) CHD surveillance work

* Ensure the US Health & Human Serivices (HHS) delivers the required CHD Report to Congress on the ACHD Workforce,

* Include CHD in the Department of Defense’s Peer-Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP)
