Looking for a summer camp your child will never forget?

Imagine your child spending four days surrounded by lakes, forests, and mountains instead of screens. They'll learn to fish, kayak, swim, tie knots, build their own fishing lures, enjoy campfires, make lifelong friends, and create memories that last a lifetime.

Our Reeling for Recovery Youth Fishing Camp is hosted at the beautiful Camp Little Notch, an American Camp Association (ACA) Accredited Camp. ACA accreditation is the gold standard for youth camps, meaning Camp Little Notch meets nationally recognized standards for safety, staff training, program quality, and camper care. Parents can have confidence knowing their children are in a professionally operated environment.

Camp Little Notch is one of the Adirondacks' hidden treasures. Their staff works year-round to preserve the camp's natural beauty while providing a clean, safe, welcoming environment where kids can grow, explore, and gain confidence outdoors.

For just $450, campers receive:
🎣 Fishing instruction and tournaments
🛶 Kayaking and water activities
🌲 Nature exploration and outdoor education
🍽️ Meals and lodging
🏕️ Campfires, games, guest presenters, and so much more

Comparable overnight camps often cost well over $2,000 for a similar experience. We're committed to making outdoor adventures affordable so more families have the opportunity to participate.

🎣 A Huge Thank You to Bass Pro Shops Clifton Park! 🎣
We are incredibly grateful to the team at Bass Pro Shops for their generous donation of 18 fishing rod and reel combos to support the youth we serve through Reeling For Recovery.

These donated combos include a variety of quality name-brand setups, including spinning and baitcasting equipment that will help introduce more young people to the sport of fishing and the outdoors.

This equipment will be put to work immediately through: ✅ Our Summer Camp Fishing Program
✅ Camper of the Week Fishing Experiences
✅ Our partnership programming with the Schenectady County Probation Department

Fishing teaches patience, responsibility, confidence, and respect for nature. Donations like this help ensure that every young person who wants to participate has the opportunity to get out on the water and create positive memories.

We are excited to place these rods into the hands of campers this summer and use them to help build connections, mentorship opportunities, and a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors.

I want to personally thank Callanan Industries and Northeast Fire Protection for helping support the kids events we hold throughout the year.

This year, we were proud to welcome Callanan Industries as a new sponsor. Companies like theirs help keep major construction projects moving by supplying the materials needed to get the job done, and we truly appreciate them stepping up to support our community events as well. A special thank you to Jalila Montero for believing in what we do and helping make these events possible.

I also want to recognize Stacey and Dan at Northeast Fire Protection. Year after year they continue to support us and give back. Their company helps keep buildings and people safe every day through fire protection and sprinkler systems, and they have brought that same level of care and commitment to our program.

Even with another challenging year of weather, we were still able to create great experiences for so many kids and families because of the support from businesses, volunteers, and everyone who came out to help.
Thank you all for continuing to believe in what we are building for these kids and this community.

We had an amazing start to the day. Thank to all the agencies that make this event a success every year. We saw a few anglers catch there first fish which is always a great experience. It's amazing weekend to get out there and get a line wet with multiple species open. Tight lines out there

Golden fish only come around once a year! Who will catch the golden trout tommorow? We have teamed up with Wiggly Worm Bait Supply and Tri City to attend another year at Hooks and Heros. This is an an amazing event and fun for any angler. Stop down tommorow and experience something new
