Be Creative Bilingual Learning Center Inc Early childhood education is at an ultimate low in the Dominican Republic. BCBLC wants to provide the resources they desperately lack. My name is Rosa Bisono.

I was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Danbury, Connecticut. Growing up I was so much more fortunate than my fellow Dominicans overseas. My eyes were opened at a young age when I would travel back and forth as a child to the motherland for vacation. I realized that children in other countries were not afforded the same opportunities as me. I remember how despondent this made me feel an

d that feeling has still stuck with me today. My childhood consisted of a beautiful family–my mother, father and sister. I had food on my plate every day. I had many toys and games to play. I went to great schools and received my college degree. Life has given me immeasurable blessings and now I want to bless these children with that same abundant life and prosperous future!
