Thank you to our volunteers who started at 8am, and still got rained on! This was a productive, efficient group with the docks! I think we are getting a groove! We will always miss Al, but he’s proud of us today!

Boats, kayaks, and paddle boards need to be removed by Wednesday October 7th. Dock removal is scheduled. Thank you.

Hannah and Matt had a first row seat from our docks, when a boat launched and caught on fire from the town park. A firefighter jumped into the water to help the boaters. And the fire department is actively controlling the fire. And the fire boat just got there. Looks like everyone is safe!

The end of April FirstLight update – no new news. As soon as we get the green light, we will move forward with all beach and dock work. They are preparing the final contract, and awaiting the chain of command’s approvals.

You are free to put paddle boards on the new paddle board rack at the beach, if you rented a spot. Please wait for kayaks, as we will have to get through that area to install docks, and kayaks will be at risk.

Beach Clean Up will follow after we can get the docks off the beach. Stay tuned….
