Damascus Cub Scout Pack 0438 had an amazing time at the Heritage Reservation camp this year, with a little bit of everything! From BB guns, archery and slingshots to leather stamping, mining, kayaking and swimming in the lake, there was never a shortage of adventure. One of our Scouts even found a Bleeding Heart Mushroom!

The weather got the best of us for a day, but that certainly didn't stop our Scouts! They ran through the rain, embraced the chaos, and kept themselves entertained with card games while waiting for the skies to clear.

So many great memories, new skills, and plenty of laughs. We're already looking forward to the next adventure!

Damascus Cub Scout Pack 0438 had an amazing time at the annual Day Camp at the Lois Green-Sligo Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America!

Our Scouts spent the week learning new skills, making memories, and embracing the spirit of adventure. Activities included archery, slingshots, BB guns, STEM projects, handicrafts, learning about the importance and respect of the American flag, and practicing essential knot-tying skills.

A huge thank you to the volunteers and staff who made this incredible experience possible. Opportunities like these help our Scouts build confidence, teamwork, responsibility, and a lifelong love of the outdoors.

💙 Damascus Cub Scout Pack 0438 had an incredible community service experience at Comfort Cases in Gaithersburg!

We learned about Comfort Cases’ amazing mission of supporting children entering foster care and then got to work packing 50 backpacks for foster kids in Florida. Each backpack was filled with essentials like a blanket, pajamas, a book, and other comfort items to help make a difficult transition a little easier.

We’re so proud of our Scouts for giving back and learning the importance of kindness, service and helping others.

Damascus Cub Scout Pack 0438 had an amazing time at Cunningham Falls for our family camping trip!
From hiking and campfires to games, laughs, and great memories with our pack families, it was a weekend full of adventure and fun.
Shoutout to our parent volunteer, Jason, who helped make it such a great trip for our scouts and families!

Damascus Cub Scout Pack 0438 showed incredible creativity, hard work and true scout spirit on the track.

Damascus Cub Scout Pack 0438 were out and about again! We had an incredible night of history and Adventure aboard the USS Torsk. ⚓️

From exploring the tight quarters to learning how sailors lived and worked beneath the waves, it was a hands-on experience packed with curiosity, teamwork, and plenty of memories made.

Shout out to the volunteers and families who helped make this opportunity possible!
