New Veterans names were added to the memorial today, November 4. Thank you to our friends at Bluefield Monument for getting this done. To the families that submitted an engraving application to honor your Veteran, we thank you for your patience. We now have 495 Veterans names inscribed on the granite.

A beautiful day brought us 72 car show enthusiasts to register for the 19th annual 2024 Veterans Memorial Cruise-In. We were thrilled to see a lot of familiar faces and long-standing supporters and excited to see the many first timers to this event.
We are once again grateful to the Damascus Food City for allowing the use of their parking lot for the patrons and visitors. We missed our regular DJ, Shannon, but Roger and Wade did a fantastic job keeping the crowd entertained.
Our gratitude to Josh Williams and Anita Cox who dedicated their time selling the 50/50 tickets and being the official car show photographer. Thank you!
Many thanks to the businesses and individuals for their generous support by sponsoring trophies or donating door prizes. Finally, recognition to the committee members of the Damascus Veterans Memorial and all the volunteers who worked beside the committee for their enthusiasm, hard work and dedication. We appreciate each one, because without a team effort, the overall success of this function would not have been possible.
We hope every attendee had an awesome and fun time and hope you will return next year. As planning begins for the 20th Veterans Memorial Cruise-In, it is tentatively scheduled for September 27, 2025. Until next time. May God bless each and every one of you.
