Just a reminder for our 60th Anniversary Picnic! 🎉 Saturday, August 1, 2026. 12:00 noon.

DTC will be providing the fried chicken and two Costco anniversary cakes, so there’s no need to bring dessert unless you have a special homemade favorite you’d really like to share.

If you’re able, please consider bringing a salad or side dish to help round out the meal. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!

Don't forget! Registration for the Damascus Travel Club Annual Picnic is due Friday, July 24.

If you plan to attend, please return the registration form included in the July newsletter by July 24 so we can plan for food and seating.

📍 Location: American Legion Hall, Damascus

There is no charge to attend! In the spirit of a potluck, please bring a side dish, salad, or appetizer to share. The Club will provide the chicken, drinks, paper products, a special 60th Anniversary cake, and plenty of great fellowship.

🦀🚤 A Wonderful Day on Maryland's Eastern Shore! 🚤🦀

The Damascus Travel Club enjoyed a fantastic day trip to Su***de Bridge Restaurant in Hurlock, Maryland, on July 10, 2026!

Members feasted on a delicious Maryland crab feast before relaxing on a scenic riverboat cruise along the beautiful Choptank River. It was a perfect day filled with great food, beautiful views, laughter, and wonderful fellowship.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so enjoyable. We look forward to many more memorable adventures together!

June 21-23, 2026 Sail 250 in Norfolk VA. First stop Cape Charles for Sailfest and a tour of the Kalmar Nyckel. Then to Norfolk for Sail 250, touring the tall ships, Hampton Roads Naval Museum and USS Wisconsin battleship. Then to Yorktown to tour the Yorktown Victory Center.
