Meet at AAPI Fest 2026! 🤗

Can you pause for a moment with us as we highlight this Lola and Grandson duo? Lola means grandma in Tagalog. The Lola x Kenneth Collaboration it's just what it sounds like - a beautiful creative partnership between Lola Cresenciana and her grandson Kenneth.

Kenneth moved home to help care for his 94-year-old grandma and wanted to do more than just keep her company, he wanted to create memories and well... Just create with her!

Lola starts paintings and Kenneth would finish them based on her memories. Isn't that how life should be? Those who come before us help start our journeys and it is up to us to continue them and finish them based on the legacies they've left.

Although Lola has passed, her imprint on this world continues through her paintings and her wonderful grandson Kenneth.

This is what our AAPI Fest is all about - bringing families and creativity together! Join us at this year's celebration and be a part of our AAPI Fest family!

📖✨ Story Time with Asia Kang ✨📖

Join us for a special story time with Asia Kang ( ) — one of our amazing AAPI Fest vendors and the author of The Puppy in My Head 🐶

Asia will be reading from her beautiful children’s book, which will also be available for purchase at the fest alongside her prints and stickers 🫶 (You can also find it at Barnes & Nobles!)

A Korean American illustrator and designer based in the Bay Area, Asia has worked with clients like Chronicle Books, Disney, Google, Walgreens, and more — creating artwork and stories that feel warm and relatable! ✨

At the heart of her work is the belief that stories can help us feel seen, connected, and less alone. The Puppy in My Head explores how our differences are not obstacles, but opportunities for growth, strength, and beautiful new perspectives 🌱

We especially love how personal storytelling is woven into everything she creates — inspired by bedtime stories from her halmoni (Korean for grandmother), meaningful moments, and the power stories have to expand our world 💭
