Dashing Dog Rescue Dashing Dog Rescue is a 501[c]3 non-profit, all volunteer dog rescue organization based in the Lewisv Dashing Dog Rescue was founded in September of 2015.

Our board and much of our membership consists of veteran animal rescuers. We are an all volunteer dog rescue based in the Lewisville/Flower Mound area. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await adoption. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dashing Dog Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) not for profit charitable organization. We are determined to keep administrative expenses extremely low so that virtually every dollar taken in goes directly to the care of our animals.

Introducing our adorable pocket pittie Gracie!
Energetic, friendly, and affectionate, this sweet girl loves to play, cuddle, and be close to her people. She can be timid around new people, dogs, and environments, so she does best with patient introductions and time to feel comfortable.
She is good in a home with both dogs and cats and loves to chase and play with her feline friends. Once she settles in, her playful and loving personality really shines.
Gracie has been doing great at doggie day camp. She was shy and nervous at first being around other dogs but she's coming out of her shell. Of course, all the humans there love her!
This precious girl is looking for a patient family ready to give her all the love, reassurance, and cuddles she deserves!
Gracie is two years old and weighs just 40 pounds.

North Texas Giving Day has arrived and we hope you’ll support Dashing Dog Rescue this year so that we can help more dogs like Ruby!
Ruby came to us after an animal control officer spotted her tied up on a rural property without any shelter from the elements. She was very thin, walked with a limp, and we soon learned that she was heartworm positive.
Ruby’s wonderful foster family cared for her through painful treatment injections for heartworm disease and helped her reach a healthy weight.
Earlier this week, Ruby underwent surgery to repair her damaged knee and she is currently resting comfortably. She still has several months of recovery ahead of her, but Ruby has been so brave and she is so sweet and loving despite all she’s been through.
