Masheli Sargent serves as Mentor for Wood Badge 149 and brings extensive experience as a Scoutmaster, district leader, and Wood Badge staff member. A Wood Badge participant in 2015, Masheli is passionate about helping leaders develop the confidence and skills needed to serve effectively. Originally from Broken Bow, Oklahoma, she enjoys meeting new people, building friendships, and sharing her love of Scouting. Masheli encourages participants to be fully present, embrace new experiences, and understand that we can always better ourselves so that we can lead and teach others. John Davis serves as Assistant Quartermaster for Wood Badge 149, and is a current Chartered Organization Representative. A dedicated Scouter originally from Spotsylvania, Virginia, John attended Wood Badge in 2017 with Circle Ten Council and continues to support leadership development through service and mentorship. He encourages participants to connect with others, stay engaged, and make the most of every opportunity the course offers. John believes Wood Badge helps leaders better understand themselves and those around them, creating skills that extend far beyond Scouting. One of his proudest memories is completing the Grand Slam of High Adventure with his son and daughter, reflecting his passion for adventure and servant leadership.
