In a new article for Youth Today, GreenLight Fund CEO Ali Knight explores what it will take to ensure foster youth are prepared to thrive: building pathways to independent adulthood, expanding AI and workforce readiness skills, and strengthening human connection alongside technology.

Snow in May, growth always! ❄️💚

Last week, the GreenLight Fund team gathered in Denver for our annual All-Staff Retreat with colleagues from across GreenLight’s 15 sites. It was a meaningful time to connect, reflect on our shared work, and spend time together in person.

Throughout the retreat, we learned from one another, built energy for the year ahead, and even had the chance to experience a few Denver highlights together, including visits to Red Rocks and Casa Bonita!

Our Strategic Advisory Council came together to review four nonprofit organizations as we work to identify where GreenLight Fund Dallas can make the greatest impact.

We’re so grateful for the incredible group of leaders who showed up with insight, candor, and deep care for our community. Their perspectives are helping guide which organizations we move forward with next.

This Black Maternal Health Week, we’re inspired by GreenLight Fund Twin Cities, portfolio organization Irth, and Irth's new partnership with Children's Minnesota.

By centering the experiences of Black and brown birthing people, Irth is helping families shape more equitable, responsive care.
