Helping to Find Solutions One Step at a Time
There are many bad habits in today’s society and though over 200 billion dollars is donated annually towards various non-profit organizations, it appears to get worse.
As a member of H.A.B.B.I.T.S. (Humans Against Bad Behaviors In Today’s Society), we are pledging to try to make a change towards others when possible. We guarantee to donate at least 30-40% of all donations towards assisting Veterans, Battered Women, Animal Cruelty and Bullied Individuals.
H.A.B.B.I.T.S. is a female owned non-profit organization that feels empowered to stand up and make a difference. Though we are new and have little to work on, we have faith and motivation to make a change and find ways to make Life better for others. Chairman, Katy Reed, was a daughter and personal friend of a Veteran who suffered with PTSD. The memories she relives over and over again made her feel she needed to try and make a difference for others. Jennifer Church who love animals and was bullied when obese still recalls how it felt to be bullied and humiliated by others. She wants to make a change for others so they don’t have to feel alone and unwanted. Katherine Allen works at the Veterans Administration and though she works hard to assist them there, she feels more needs to be done in the future. Tonya Houston who recalls being discriminated and assaulted because she was a female wants to help make difference for others not brave enough to protect themselves.
