This year’s Giving & Gratitude was pure community power turkeys, fresh produce, hot meals, blessing bags, and nonstop love poured into families who needed it most. From the first volunteer check-in to the last box delivered, the energy was unmatched.

The energy was electric. The smiles were endless. The impact? Ray Curtis Petty Jr. didn’t just graduate from law school. He made a statement with it. After failing the bar once, he studied harder, passed on his second try, and became the first lawyer in his family. But his biggest goal is not just courtroom success. For Ray, his career is a form of protest and a way to fight injustice from within the system.

His journey is a reminder that persistence matters and purpose gives every step more meaning.
