We had an amazing group of lifeguards at WaterView this summer, and we are so thankful for each and every one of them! As several of our guards head back to school this week, we want to give a HUGE shout-out to our Gold Star Guard of the Summer — Camden “Cam” Starke! 🏊‍♂️⭐

Cam is not only a 3rd-year WaterView lifeguard, but he’s also a WaterView resident! Congrats Cam!

Good afternoon, neighbors.

⚠️We want to make everyone aware that there has been a report of an aggressive loose dog roaming within the community.⚠️

Rowlett Police Department and Animal Control have both been notified and are actively searching for the animal.

For your safety, please:

🐾 Be extra cautious when walking outside.

🐾 Keep children close and pets on a leash.

🐾 Do not approach or attempt to capture the dog if you see it.

🐾 If you spot the animal, please call 911 if there is an immediate threat or contact Rowlett Animal Services to report its location. Providing the exact street or nearest intersection can help responders locate it more quickly.

🌿 Friendly Reminder for Golf Course Property Owners 🌿

Attention to all homeowners whose properties back up to the Waterview Golf Course!

This is a friendly reminder that homeowners are responsible for maintaining the grass and weeds at least 12 inches beyond the back side of their fence line along the golf course.

Earlier this week, the City conducted a code enforcement inspection and observed several properties with overgrown grass and weeds along or around the rear fence line. As a courtesy, we wanted to give everyone a heads-up before code enforcement begins issuing notices starting Monday, July 6, 2026.

If your property backs up to the golf course, please take a few moments this week to inspect the area behind your fence and trim or mow it as needed. Keeping these areas maintained helps preserve the appearance of our community and may help you avoid receiving a code enforcement notice.

🚧 Pool Maintenance Update 🚧

You'll notice that a small section of the main pool has been temporarily sectioned off with caution tape while we complete a necessary maintenance repair.

💦 The Swim Park remains OPEN, and the rest of the main pool, slides, and other amenities are available for residents to enjoy as usual!

For everyone's safety, we ask that all residents please respect the caution tape and avoid the closed area until repairs are complete.

We hope to have this resolved very quickly and will keep everyone updated as soon as the repair is complete.

The maintenance has been completed, and the water slides are back open today! 💦🌊

Due to an unforeseen issue, the water slides will be closed for the remainder of today while we work to resolve the problem.

The Swim Park remains open, but the slides will be unavailable until the issue has been corrected. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure everything is operating safely.

The sand volleyball court is getting a little extra love! 💙 Please note that ongoing maintenance will be taking place today and tomorrow, so the court will be temporarily unavailable while we freshen things up.
