Sometimes sorrow leaves us at a loss for words. We want to pray, but all we can do is weep. I believe those tears can become prayers.
When Jesus stood at Lazarus’s tomb, He wept and was deeply moved in spirit. Scripture does not tell us every thought He carried in that moment, but I believe He was praying inwardly through His tears and groaning.
Then Jesus prayed aloud: “Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.” He said He spoke because of the people standing there, “that they may believe that thou hast sent me” (John 11:41–42). His public words helped them believe, but His Father had already heard Him.
So if grief has taken your words today, don’t think God cannot hear you. Bring Him your tears, too.

ARE YOU WATCHING? 👀

The Lord is only coming like a thief in the night to those who are not prepared, not ready, not watching, and not waiting for Him with great expectation.

When you are waiting for something with great expectation, you prepare for it. You’re ready. You’re watching. You’re anticipating the arrival because you are expecting them to show up.

But when you’re not prepared, anything can creep up on you. Anything unexpected can catch you off guard—just like a thief in the night.

That’s why this is a season of preparedness. Readiness. Watchfulness. Expectation.

We don’t know the day or the hour, but we are called to WATCH.

We are pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. We are looking for His appearing. We are living with expectation.

The question isn't, “Do you know when He's coming?”

The question is:

ARE YOU WATCHING?
ARE YOU EXPECTING HIM?
ARE YOU READY?

Because when you're truly expecting someone to arrive, you live like they could show up at any moment.
