Love Thy Neighbor, Inc. - Texas

A North Texas non-profit, committed to providing nutrition and clothing to those in need. Love Thy Neighbor is a North Texas non-profit, with no paid staff.

Virtually all donations go to support our programs. We have been fortunate enough to receive a few grants to assist us in delivering our programs, but we rely on our donors. Over 95% of donations go directly to assisting those in need, the remainder is for insurance, office supplies, and fundraising. Working with our partner organizations, we provide:
- food and clothing to families in need in the

Lewisville area
- blankets and clothing to babies born into health or economic crisis in the DFW area
- pet beds for various animal shelters and rescue groups

Love Thy Neighbor served the homeless and the working poor through the Lewisville Salvation Army location from November 2010 through December 2021. We have now partnered with Heart of the City and New Beginnings Church in Lewisville to help those in need at various locations in North Dallas. Our Love Thy Baby program provides clothing to babies born into financial and/or physical need in the DFW area.

We have the best volunteers! ❤️

In addition to providing Love Thy Baby with a place to meet, Webb Chapel Church of Christ hosts a six-week Summer Learning Camp where dedicated volunteers tutor local children.

Our incredible Love Thy Baby volunteers recently passed the hat and raised enough to provide 20 pizzas for these hungry campers!

Thank you to our amazing volunteers for always finding meaningful ways to serve our community and make a difference. We appreciate each and every one of you! ❤️

💕 Thank you to our amazing Love Thy Baby volunteers! 💕
Our volunteers made beautiful quilts for the newborns at JPS Hospital, and yesterday Gloria and Wanda delivered them. Thank you to everyone who shared their time and talents to help welcome these precious babies with love and warmth. ❤️👶

During this time, we will not be accepting donations or providing clothing assistance. We will reopen and resume services on Tuesday, July 7.

On May 9th, the Classic Women and Classic Men from Vista Ridge United Methodist Church volunteered at Love Thy Neighbor’s Clothing Assistance Program. They helped hang clothes, process shoes, and fold clothing for the store bins.

We are so grateful for their time and hard work. Thank you to these wonderful groups for supporting our mission and helping us serve our community with love and care!

Love Thy Neighbor's Clothing Assistance Program received a gift of teddy bears and cows from the students in Mrs. Stagemeyer’s Fashion Design classes at Flower Mound High School. The students worked very hard creating these special gifts, and they are much loved by the children whose parents come to “shop” at our store. Many thanks to all the classes that donated!

We are incredibly grateful to the City of Highland Village, Texas Government for awarding Love Thy Neighbor’s Clothing Assistance Program a $3,484 grant towards the CAP's 2026 budget!

This generous support will go a long way in helping us provide essential items—such as socks, shoes, underwear, and clothing—to individuals and families in need throughout our community.

🧦💛 A huge thank you to Lamb of God Lutheran Church for their incredible generosity!

Through their efforts, 750 pairs of socks and underwear were collected to support our Clothing Assistance Program (CAP). These essential items make a meaningful difference for the individuals and families we serve every day.
