Today, the Kaufman County Commissioners Court proudly proclaimed April as Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month.

This important recognition is a reminder that protecting our children is a shared responsibility. Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and loved, and it takes a strong, united community to make that possible.

Throughout the month of April, we encourage everyone to spread awareness, and take a stand for the well-being of children in Kaufman County. Together, we can help prevent abuse and create a brighter, safer future for every child.
