Goals of PTSA
•Provide Plano West students with well-rounded academic and enrichment opportunities.
•Provide educational and informative parenting programs to meet the needs of our Parents.
•Provide communication about PTSA and school activities, business partnerships, and School Based Improvement Committee information through newsletters, calendars, website and other appropriate channels.
•Encourage two-way communication, foster parent participation in their children’s education, and encourage cooperation among teachers, administrators and parents for the education of our children.
•Provide family activities and foster school spirit.
•Provide parents with PISD School Board and state legislative information on education matters.
•Provide volunteers to assist teachers and staff in areas and acknowledge their efforts.
•Provide teacher and staff appreciation.
•Sponsor fundraisers which will be used to enrich the learning environment of all students of Plano West Senior High School.
•Welcome new students and their families and continue to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere at Plano West for all students, staff, and families.
•Create an environment of cultural diversity and increase opportunities for awareness of different cultures.

💻Chromebook Return Begins May 18!
Seniors who are exempt from finals may begin turning in their Chromebook, case, and charger starting May 18. All juniors and seniors may turn in their devices as soon as they complete their last final exam for the year. All devices must be returned no later than May 22.

Chromebook Return Location: Library (Courtyard Entrance)

Return Dates: May 18–22

Please make sure to bring:

Chromebook (clean with no stickers)
Chromebook case (clean)
Charger (bundled neatly)
Fees for missing items are as follows:

Chromebook: $410
Charger: $27.50
Charger A/C Cord Only: $3
Case: $27.50
‼️ Students with outstanding Chromebook fines or missing equipment may experience delays with checkout processes and, for seniors, graduation ticket pickup.

Students will be taking spring semester final exams this week on Tuesday, May 19 through Friday, May 22.

Exam Week Reminders

⏰ Classes dismiss at 1:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

‼️ Classes dismiss at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 22.

🚌 Busses will run at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

✏️ Tutorials may be available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons. Contact your student’s teacher for information.
