TX Gov Greg Abbott inducted into the Purple Heart Ambassador Program. During a speech from Eric Newton, Purple Heart Recipient and Commander of Chapter 1513, and Department of Texas Sr. Vice Commander inducts Greg Abbott into the Purple Heart Ambassador program. What is a Purple Heart Ambassador? We have a great group of celebrities, actors who through their craft, their daily lives have committed to the Purple Heart, and use their spotlight to assist Purple Heart Recipients to achieve their dreams, and life goals. An Ambassador speaks about hanging out with Purple Heart Recipients, their take aways, and the inspiration it brings to the Ambassadors life. Ambassadors will encourage donations and sensitivity around our nation's combat wounded.
