School has been back in for a month now , and we’re still smiling about how our community showed up for over 500+students and their families.

At Above All Things Dream Foundation, E is for Education in our F.A.M.E. program module. Helping students start the year prepared also helps families with the cost of back-to-school essentials. 💙 Less stress, more confident, prepared and happy.

Here’s what we shared:

500+ brand new backpacks filled with thousands of school supplies, including notebooks, pencils, crayons, pronged folders, packs of filler paper, and more.
600 meals featuring amazing BBQ
14,000+ pounds of food for families

To the 95 volunteers, donors, and partners who helped make it happen: thank you! You helped send students into the school year with supplies in hand and a community behind them. 🙌

Last month, because of incredible community support, we distributed 15,000 pounds of food to families in need. 🙌

A huge thank you to McKinney Roots, Preston Trail Community Church, our volunteers, donors, and every helping hand that made such an incredible impact.

Now it’s time to do it again!

🏀🔥 ACTION OVER EXCUSES CAMP DAY 3 🔥🏀

What an incredible way to finish our Action Over Excuses Camp!

Today was all about learning, growing, competing, and having fun while continuing to build confidence both on and off the court. From skill development and ball handling to teamwork, communication, and game play, our campers continued to take steps forward.

A special THANK YOU to Coach Chelsea Nelson for leading today’s camp and pouring into our young athletes. As a former Division I and professional basketball player, Coach Chelsea brought not only knowledge of the game, but energy, encouragement, and a passion for helping the next generation grow. We are grateful for the impact she made on every camper today.

We also want to thank all of our coaches, volunteers, and parents who helped make these three days such a success. None of this is possible without your support.

Most importantly, thank you to the kids for showing up, working hard, having great attitudes, and choosing ACTION OVER EXCUSES every single day.

The camp may be over, but the lessons continue.
