🐾🖤 OCTOBER IS NATIONAL PIT BULL AWARENESS MONTH — AND WE’RE CELEBRATING OUR MVP BOY, PETEY! Aka Peter. Aka Petey the Sweetie. ❤️

And today is an EXTRA special day because Petey is celebrating his 1 YEAR FOSTERVERSARY with his incredible foster family! 🎉🐾
That’s right — exactly one year ago today, Petey landed with the people who have loved, spoiled, supported, and championed him like he was their very own pup. 🥹❤️
And we are SO incredibly grateful to them for going above and beyond for this special boy.
But here’s the thing…
Petey has actually been in foster care for more than FOUR YEARS. 💔
And while his current foster family has given him an amazing year filled with love, comfort, adventures, cuddles, and all the spoiling a boy could ask for, there’s still one thing Petey would really, REALLY love:
HIS OWN FOREVER FAMILY. 🏡❤️
So today, during National Pit Bull Awareness Month, we’re shining the biggest spotlight we possibly can on this amazing boy.
Because Petey is SO much more than a dog waiting for a home.
He’s a 5-year-old, 60 pound professional snuggler who firmly believes he is a lap dog. 😂 If you sit down, he’s coming over. If there’s room, he’s sitting. If there isn’t room? Well… he’ll make room! 🥰
And his favorite thing in the whole wide world?
HIS PEOPLE. 👫❤️
Petey doesn’t just love his humans — he ADORES them!
He wants to be your shadow, your adventure buddy, your couch companion, your walking partner, and your biggest fan. He’ll happily spend the day exploring the world with you and then spend the evening curled up as close to you as physically possible.
Personal space? He has absolutely no idea what that is. 😂💕
Petey has been fostered alongside other dogs and has done well with proper introductions, but we’ve learned that he’d be happiest as the one-and-only dog in his forever home. He has SO much love to give and would be thrilled to have all your attention to himself! 🖤

Petey has left the puppy chaos behind, but his heart is still overflowing with love.
He’s ready for someone who will choose him, cherish him, and make him part of their family forever.
His foster family has shown him what it feels like to be loved like someone’s own.
Now we want to help Petey experience something even more special:
COMING HOME. 🏡❤️
